Not sure how to even start a budget? What would you even write down? How do you keep track of all of the money going in and out of multiple accounts? It may be intimidating but don’t worry, it is actually easier than you think.
Someone has done the work for you.
No more excuses. These are some budget templates that you can use to start you very own budget. Chances are, none of these will be perfect for you, but the cool thing is that you can modify them to suit your needs. For instance, I don’t get paid on the exact same day every month. Issa ok though, I can modify my sheet to work for me. I may have to change my listed pay day for each month, but it doesn’t take much time and it’s easy to do. I had to change some of the categories. Also very easy to do. So now I have no excuse not to start my budget, well, not true, but it doesn’t matter because I’m doing this. Full steam ahead. Oh boy.
This is the budget template that I’m using
These are also very cool but vary greatly.
Life after college Budget Template
How much is your debt costing you?
Here are some other Budget Spreadsheets in case the ones above just don’t float your boat. Find the one that works best for you, modify it to suit your needs and go with it. I have found that none will be perfect. Every one will require at least a little bit of tweaking. So don’t be scared, get in there and make one of these yours. You can always change it or even replace it later if need be.
